Melody Mackeown
Gut Health Specialist & Parkinson’s Disease Nutrition Expert
Why I’m Passionate About Gut and Brain Health
I’m Melody, a registered nutritional therapist, certified microbiome analyst, and passionate advocate for personalised nutrition.
For over 15 years, I’ve supported clients across the UK and Europe in transforming their health through root-cause nutrition strategies. As both a gut health specialist and an expert in nutrition for Parkinson’s Disease, I help people overcome long-standing symptoms, improve their quality of life, and feel confident in their bodies again.
Whether you’re struggling with IBS, reflux, or bloating, or navigating the daily challenges of Parkinson’s Disease, I offer science-backed, holistic support designed just for you.
My journey into gut health and microbiome restoration began when a close family member experienced debilitating digestive symptoms, chronic reflux, nausea, and abdominal pain. Standard treatments failed them. That’s when I turned to the emerging science of the gut microbiome, uncovering how targeted nutrition could lead to lasting change.
I also saw the impact nutrition could have on neurological health and Parkinson’s Disease symptoms, ranging from digestion and fatigue to sleep, cognition, and mood.
Those experiences inspired me to combine evidence-based research with compassion-led care.
Today, I work with clients who think that “nothing can be done” and together, we prove otherwise.

“I no longer have any nausea or vomiting. I don’t think I would have been able to go back to work without Melody’s help”
“I suffer from endometriosis, severe pain, vomiting, and nausea. Within the first month of seeing you, my energy levels improved and I no longer have any nausea or vomiting. If I hadn’t changed my diet, as suggested, I don’t think I would have been able to go back to work without Melody’s help as I was feeling sick all the time.”
